Dietmar Stanka

Dietmar Stanka, born in Bayreuth, Bavaria, in 1959, began his journalism career at the age of 15, reporting on ice hockey and music events for the Nordbayerische Nachrichten, a local newspaper in his hometown of Pegnitz.

After serving in the German Army, Stanka began his professional career in 1986 as a financial consultant to Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG (DVAG). In addition to his journalism career, Stanka continues to represent Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG as a financial consultant.

In 2000 Stanka rediscovered his journalistic roots and began reporting for GSC Research. As an economy reporter, he covered general meetings and press conferences in Munich and surrounding areas.

In 2001 Stanka began covering automobiles and travel as a writer for America Journal, AutoReporter.net, and Drive and Travel, as well as numerous other publications.

By 2003, Stanka was advising companies on their public relation strategies.

In August 2006, Stanka took over responsibility for the driving and travel section of the Berchtesgadener Anzeiger.

In Summer 2007 Stanka began covering automobiles, travel, innovations and economics as a writer for vmm wirtschaftsverlag in Augsburg.
