Born to rock...

Music has always been a big part of Dietmar Stanka’s life, from hard rock bands such as AC/DC, Gotthard, Accept and Rockheroes to the early sounds of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Free, Mountain and even the Chicago Blues. His favorite movies include the Woodstock Festival film and the classic Blues Brothers film.

Stanka began writing about music at just 15 years of age when he reviewed local bands and concerts for the Nordbayerische Nachrichten. He even interviewed soul singer Edwin Starr, an internationally known artist from the USA.

In 2006 Stanka reported on the legendary English rock band “Status Quo” for the Berchtesgadener Anzeiger newspaper.

Currently, Stanka manages Claudia Cane, the most well known rock voice east of the Mississippi. Her bands are The Cyberspace Hippies, a rock band formed with six women, and her T. Turner Tribute band.
